What's a photobioreactor ?

A photobioreactor is a culture system that produces photosynthetic micro-organisms suspended in water, such as microalgae. It is a closed culture system, monitored by an artificial intelligence that allows us to have an optimal control of the water, of the composition of our microalgae and above all guarantees sanitary and microbial analyses.

This control ensures the irreproachability of our microalgae with regard to possible risks of chemical, microbial or water-related contamination associated with a culture in an open environment. We can thus follow their evolution and adjust their needs in terms of temperature, salinity, pH of the water, nutrient supply and luminosity for optimal culture.

Why is our production constant all year round ?

The closed production environment and the control of vital parameters for the development of the algae allow us to cultivate continuously and with the same quality. A crop that depends on seasonal and climatic fluctuations will have a less consistent nutritional quality.
